DoN LAIRCM

The AN/AAQ-24(V)25, DoN LAIRCM system combines advanced, two-color Infrared Missile Warning System (MWS) and Directed Laser Countermeasures to defeat shoulder-launched missiles fired at aircraft.

APKWS

The APKWS II is a design conversion of an unguided Hydra 2.75-inch rocket with a laser guidance kit to give it precision-kill capability.  It is intended as an inexpensive way to destroy targets while limiting collateral damage in close combat.  The APKWS II guidance section is threaded between the legacy 10-pound high-explosive warhead and Mk66 Mod 4 rocket motor.   Production began in 2011.   Initial Operational Capability (IOC) was declared in 2012 on AH-1W and UH-1Y helicopters.   In March 2014, APKWS II was successfully integrated onto MH-60S and MH-60R.  In 2016, APKWS II was fielded on the AV-8B, F-16 and A-10 aircraft.

AARGM

The AARGM mission is Suppression and/or Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD/DEAD). Its primary targets are re-locatable Integrated Air Defense (IAD) targets and targets that utilize shutdown tactics. AARGM counters enemy shutdown capability through the use of a multi-mode seeker.

Tomahawk

The Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) is a long range cruise missile used for deep land attack warfare, launched from U. S. Navy surface ships and U.S. Navy and United Kingdom Royal Navy submarines.

AAE/FC

Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) program: procures, modifies and upgrades common bomb racks, peculiar bomb racks, missile launchers, and provides related support for Navy and Marine Corps platforms.

CAD/PAD

PADs include such devices as catapults, rocket catapults and rocket motors which are used in military aircrew escape systems. All catapults, rocket catapults and rocket motors currently in use are solid-propellant devices. In conjunction with various CADs and other life-support equipment, PADs power the ejection system utilized to eject aircrew members safely from disabled aircraft. Both CADs and PADs contain the energetic material along with a mechanical or electronic actuating component.
