The P-8A Poseidon is the U.S. Navy’s multi-mission maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft conducting long-range anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR).

The EP-3E Aries II platform has been retired. It was a land-based multi-intelligence reconnaissance aircraft based on the P-3 Orion airframe.

The P-3C Orion, a land-based, long-range, anti-submarine warfare (ASW) patrol aircraft, mission includes surveillance of the battlespace, either at sea or over land.
