Cmdr. Matt Pearce, F-5 pilot instructor with Fighter Squadron Composite 111 (VFC-111) Sun Downers based out of Naval Air Station Key West, Fla., described it as small, maneuverable and cost-effective — saving the warfighter and taxpayer money, materials and resources.
