The Honorable Michael Powers, Deputy Undersecretary of War – Comptroller; Mr. Thomas Harker, Deputy Financial Officer, Undersecretary of War – Comptroller; and Mr. John Grabenstein, SES, NAVAIR Director of Product Support, visited Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) for an in depth look at the command’s mission, capabilities, and continued success supporting the Warfighter.

During their visit, senior leaders received a command overview highlighting FRCSW’s production and financial accomplishments, including a remarkable record of meeting or surpassing aircraft production goals for 10 consecutive years. The brief underscored the command’s commitment to disciplined execution, responsible stewardship of resources, and delivering combat ready aircraft and components to the Fleet.

Following the brief, the delegation received a tour of FRCSW’s F/A-18, F-16, V-22, Manufacturing and Components programs from CAPT Jason Martinson (FRCSW Executive Officer) and Mr. David Kelly (FRCSW Production Director). During the tour the visitors gained firsthand insight into the skilled workforce, advanced capabilities, and complex processes that keep critical aviation assets ready and relevant.

From the production floor to financial stewardship, FRCSW continues to demonstrate what is possible when mission focused personnel, resources, and expertise come together in support of Naval Aviation.
