Members of the San Diego Industrial Environmental Association (IEA) visit Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) to tour the command’s award-winning paint facility following FRCSW’s selection as the recipient of the 2026 IEA Environmental Excellence Award.

This prestigious recognition highlights FRCSW’s significant commitment to environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while sustaining critical naval aviation maintenance and repair operations. The visit provided IEA members an opportunity to see firsthand the facility’s capabilities and the environmental practices that contributed to FRCSW earning this important distinction. The award represents a significant achievement for the command and recognizes the dedication of FRCSW personnel in protecting the environment while ensuring mission readiness and continued support to the Fleet.
