CAPT Shannon Thompson, Commanding Officer of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), presents Mr. Greg Mann, Business Office Director, with the Civilian of the Quarter award for the first quarter of 2026 in recognition of his exceptional leadership and contributions to fleet readiness. Mann played a pivotal role in advancing Naval System Sustainment Air (NSS-A) initiatives, negotiating critical commercial support agreements for the F/A-18 Service Life Modification (SLM) and F-16 Planned Sustainment and Structural Repair (PSSR) programs. His strategic leadership expanded public private partnerships by more than 20 percent and secured over 500,000 direct labor hours, positioning FRCSW to be able to meet future sustainment demands from the fleet. Mann’s efforts also supported more than 20 capabilities enhancing projects and future workload integration for advanced aircraft platforms, reinforcing the command’s commitment to mission readiness and long term success.
