During his tour of the command, led by Mr. Dave Kelly (FRCSW Production Director) and CAPT Shannon Thompson (FRCSW Executive Officer), the team provided a full brief on the overall status of FRCSW, illustrating nearly a decade of sustained excellence. Over the past nine years under Kelly’s leadership, FRCSW has met or exceeded aircraft production goals every year, delivering nearly 300 aircraft over the past two fiscal years alone with a 93 % on-time delivery rate, and completed 165 consecutive MH-60 depot events within required maintenance intervals. VADM Dougherty toured key mission-critical operations including the F/A-18 program, manufacturing shops, the ongoing construction of the new CMV-22 hangar, and the LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine engine program, the only U.S. Navy depot on the West Coast certified to overhaul LM2500s for surface-fleet powerplants.
