Air Wing Ship Integration (AWSI)
The Air Wing Ship Integration (AWSI) consists of four programs: Digital Camera Receiving Station (DCRS), Naval Strike Warfare Planning Center (NSWPC), Integrated Strike Planning and Execution (ISP&E) and Carrier Ready Room Transformational Technologies Upgrade.
DCRS provides the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) with the ability to receive, capture, manipulate, process, disseminate and store all digital imagery from airborne platforms on the aircraft carrier. DCRS is the primary CVIC Air Wing debriefing tool and is used to distribute post-strike mission products for CSG and the global intelligence community through classified networks.
The NSWPC effort verifies the integration of strike mission planning, targeting, execution, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and debrief support systems for Nimitz class carriers.
ISP&E is the continuation of NSWPC effort for Ford class carrier.
The Ready Room Transformational Technologies Upgrade supports multiple, simultaneous activities at different security classification levels within the ready room spaces. Upgrades support Carrier Air Wing mission planning, briefing, debriefing and aircrew training on Nimitz class carriers.
