The Navy awarded a contract for Aircrew Training Services in support of the Advanced Helicopter Training System (AHTS) program on Aug. 25, 2020, that will improve pilot training and skills by using current technologies and a modernized training curriculum.The TH-73A AHTS ensures the future readiness of Naval Aviation by providing the training tools needed to produce the next generations of rotary and tilt-rotor pilots for the U.S. and select allied nations. The TH-73A will replace the aging TH-57 platforms.
