PMA-265 wins Navy Acquisition Excellence Award for supply chain excellence

Aviation Safety Equipment Airman Austin Polcyn, from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, assigned to the "Warhawks" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 97 conducts maintenance on an F/A-18E Super Hornet in USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) hangar bay Nov. 6, 2020.

The F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265)-led Integrated Supply Chain Management Team revolutionized Fleet support practices and successfully resolved major logistics issues to increase readiness across 3,400 fixed and rotary wing aircraft. The team's efforts won them this year's Department of the Navy’s Acquisition Excellence Award Supply Chain Excellence Award.
