STRAIT OF HORMUZ (Nov. 9 2020) Sailors conduct maintenance on an F/A-18F Super Hornet, from the "Fighting Redcocks" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA-22), on the flight deck as the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) transits the Strait of Hormuz.

The F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265)-led Integrated Supply Chain Management Team revolutionized Fleet support practices and successfully resolved major logistics issues to increase readiness across 3,400 fixed and rotary wing aircraft. The team's efforts won them this year's Department of the Navy’s Acquisition Excellence Award Supply Chain Excellence Award.
