Vice Adm. David Venlet, NAVAIR commander, begins an all-hands meeting on April 30 at China Lake’s All Faith Chapel with about 250 employees from the China Lake work force. The admiral pledged no limits on the afternoon discussion and welcomed comments and questions from the audience on several topics including BRAC, NMCI, ERP and NSPS. Venlet also reminded those in attendance of NAVAIR’s enduring mission to develop, deliver and sustain aircraft and systems so that Sailors and Marines are armed with confidence as they go into harm’s way. And, he encouraged all to maintain balance in their lives as they continue to serve a purpose greater than themselves – defense of freedom.
