MEDIA ADVISORY – You are invited to attend a book presentation ceremony in the Administration Building at NAWCWD China Lake on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m.

NAWCWD Executive Director Scott O’Neil will be presenting a copy of “Magnificent Mavericks” to author Liz Babcock.

“Magnificent Mavericks” is the third volume of the history of the Navy’s desert installation at China Lake. It takes up with the 1948 dedication of Michelson Lab, and covers about 10 years.
