2006 Navy Ball Honors Navy's 231st Birthday

Archived Body

The Navy celebrated its 231st birthday at the New Jersey Navy Ball on 6 October 2006 at the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

With more than 500 in attendance, this year’s Navy Ball was a great success. Hosted by CAPT Bret Gordon, NAES Lakehurst, Commanding Officer, we were honored to have VADM Robert T. Conway, Commander, Navy Installations Command as the guest speaker and the Navy’s Electric Brigade band provided entertainment throughout the evening.

The efforts of the Navy Ball Committee are to be commended. A tremendous amount of personal time and effort were given for fund raising events throughout the year. Thanks for such a great job!
