Public, aerospace firms invited to NAVAIR flight training 'Industry Day'

NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD -- A Naval Undergraduate Flight Training Systems Industry Day, hosted by NAVAIR and the Patuxent Partnership, is scheduled for Sept. 14 at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center in California, MD.

The event, open to interested members of the aerospace industry as well as the public, will feature sessions describing the future of Naval Aviation flight training and opportunities for future industry involvement.

The morning session will specifically address the T-45 Contractor Logistics Support Services contract that will be competed within the next two years.

Check-in for the morning session will begin at 9 a.m. and presentations will run 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

The afternoon session will address the Undergraduate Flight Training Systems Program (PMA 273).

Check-in for the afternoon session will begin at Noon for the PMA-273 Industry Day, with presentations scheduled 1 - 4:30 p.m. There is no charge for either session, but a separate registration is required for each session.

NAVAIR’s Naval Undergraduate Flight Training Systems Program provides training to pilots, Naval Flight Officers and international students under the direction of the Chief of Naval Air Training. CNATRA has five training air wings, with its headquarters based in Corpus Christi, Texas.
