International officers tour NADEP Cherry Point
Military officers from 22 foreign countries visited NADEP Cherry Point Feb. 4 for a tour of the H-53 and H-46 hangars. The international officers are attending a yearlong USMC Command and Staff College program in Quantico, Va., and stopped at the depot as part of a four-day field trip to various military facilities.
The facility tour, which was conducted as part of their program curriculum, was designed to familiarize the officers with the fleet support role of the depot. They were welcomed by NADEP Commanding Officer Col. Eugene Conti before being escorted on tours through Building 137.
