Photo Caption: Larry Conley (right), NADEP Cherry Point's senior photographer, receives the honorary degree of Fellowship in Photography from Robert Henderson, president of the Professional Photographers of North Carolina (PPNC), March 5. Conley was honored during an awards ceremony that was part of a six-day PPNC convention at the Sheraton Hotel in Research Triangle Park, Raleigh-Durham. He qualified to receive his fellowship as a result of his service to the association as chairman of the photography committee for six years, and for training credits he earned through the association. Conley has been employed at the depot for 28 years and has worked as a photographer since December 1993.
