Does the thought of a two-hour security briefing in the base theater leave you searching your calendar for a conflict?

Well, the D*I*C*E Man is coming to Pax River, and you will want to schedule his briefings in ink because you won't want to miss it - at least, that's what past viewers of his programs have to say.

"No doubt, this was the best security briefing I've ever received," said Capt. Bob Wirt, program manager for Conventional Strike Weapons (PMA-201).

"The security brief that I attended was absolutely outstanding," said Tom Flynn, target requirements liaison (PMA-208). "The D*I*C*E Man video was without doubt one of the most informative and invigorating briefings in my 17 years of naval service. I will definitely be part of the audience to hear Ray Semko in person."

NAVAIR's Information Assurance Program Office invited the D*I*C*E Man to speak three times at the base theater on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 26 and 27. The first briefing will be held from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and two more briefings will be held on Wednesday, from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. and again from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. No pre-registration is required.

Ray Semko is the D*I*C*E Man, and he has been informing and entertaining audiences for more than a decade. His briefing is unclassified, but the threat information he provides is up-to-the-minute current and relevant.

"In my opinion, OPSEC (operational security) holds the key to protecting information in today's world," said Semko. "The threat will no longer be minimized by locks and fences - we have to get smart and start protecting our critical information from our adversaries - the future of our nation depends on it."

The D*I*C*E Man has more than 30 years of military and government OPSEC, security and counterintelligence experience to the IOSS (Interagency OPSEC Support Staff). His briefings are designed to effectively go to the heart of the message of countering the threat through OPSEC and personal responsibility.

During his program, he will explain who the players are, their targets, their modus operandi and most importantly, how employees can protect the information they handle. But perhaps best of all, the D*I*C*E Man guarantees not to put you to sleep.

The program is free and open to all U.S. citizens (government, contractor, military and retiree). Training credits are available.
