The NAS Pax River Recycling Center, Building 604, is holding an open house Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in support of “America Recycles Day.”

Station employees are invited to watch the recycling process at work and equipment demonstrations, as well as a cookout.

Sign a pledge to recycle and be entered into a drawing to win a free compost bin. Additionally you may be entered into the national contest and be eligible for more prizes.

The Recycling Center will also be offering a limited number of compost bins for sale. The cost is $25, payable by check or money order only. If you missed the promotion in April or want additional bins this will be an opportunity to pick up what you need.
