Photo Caption: NADEP Cherry Point H-46 pilots and crew chiefs pose in front of an H-46 painted in the old European tactical paint scheme in the H-46 Hangar June 13. The helo was painted at the depot after Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM) in 1989 and was the last remaining aircraft in the Marine Corps sporting the old paint scheme. It has since been stripped and will be repainted in the current regulation tactical gray paint scheme when it completes the SDLM process in October.
