Modeling, simulation meeting set for June 25
The Office of the Chief of Naval Operations N60M Navy Modeling and Simulation Management Office (OPNAV N60M NAVMSMO) is sponsoring the eighth Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River theater (Building 1495) on June 25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check-in starts at 7 a.m.
The focus of this TIM will be on modeling and simulation (M&S) contributions toward achieving the Navy’s FORCEnet vision for fully netting the naval forces. Developers and users of models and simulations, Department of Defense policy makers, fleet operators and planners, trainers, M&S laboratory personnel, and those who want to understand the potential utility of M&S in the “Force-netted” fleet should attend.
There is no charge to attend but pre-registration is required. To register, go to http://navmsmo.hq.navy.mil/, click on News & Events and then click on TIM to select June 25, 2202. Click on “Registration,” fill out the form and then click on “Register Now” to submit the request. A registration form may also be printed, filled out and faxed to Karin Zielinski at 407-282-6404.
