NAVAIR Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake -- Due to extended efforts by DoD gate guards and added help from the squadrons and Auxiliary Security Force personnel, employees working onboard Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake will find the following gate access times a bit more convenient.

Starting Monday, July 7, Lauritsen Gate will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sandquist Gate will be open from 5 to 8 a.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. on workdays only.

The back gate, Richmond Gate, will continue to be open from 6 to 8 a.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through non-flex Fridays for now. In the future, when staffing allows, an extra hour will be added to the morning and evening hours.

There are no changes to the Main Gate’s hours. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Gate hours are broadcasted continuously on Radio Station 1610 AM and can also be checked by calling 939-1887 or clicking on the Current Events and Notices link at http://www.nawcwd.navy.mil.
