NAVAIR E-2 Program Announces Advanced Hawkeye Logo Contest
Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD -- As the development of the Advanced Hawkeye (AHE), the newest iteration of the E-2 aircraft, is introduced into the Fleet, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) invites NAVAIR team members, industry partners, the Fleet, and all other interested parties to provide their design concepts of a logo representative of AHE and the unique capabilities it brings to the warfighter.
The Advanced Hawkeye (AHE) is poised to play a sizable role in U.S. military strategy as the linchpin of transformational capabilities. The E-2, traditionally considered the “Eyes of the Fleet”, will provide data collection and information distribution to naval and joint forces well ahead of engagement, supplying the U.S. Navy with the most technologically advanced command and control capability in the world.
