Media Advisory: NAVAIR TACAIR Programs to Brief Media at Sea-Air-Space
Program Managers from the Program Executive Officer for Tactical Aircraft will present several media briefings at Sea-Air-Space 2003, presented by the Navy League of the United States.
Tuesday, April 15
9:30 a.m. – “AIM-9X: Delivering on the Promise of 21st Century Air Dominance,” Presented by Capt. Scott Stewart, in the Conference Room, Raytheon booth, Marriott Wardman Park Hotel
The NAVAIR AIM-9X program will conduct a media brief at Sea-Air-Space in conjunction with our industry partner, Raytheon. Capt Scott Stewart, NAVAIR Air-to-Air Missiles Program Manager (PMA259) will brief the AIM-9X program to reporters. AIM-9X, currently in OPEVAL, will focus on production, IOC and the international customer base. OPEVAL is scheduled to conclude in early summer. Reporters are invited to arrive at 0915 for a 0930 start time.
Wednesday, April 16
3:00 p.m. – “Advanced Hawkeye Program Update,” Presented by Capt. Bob Labelle, in the Nathan Hale room in the Wardman Tower, Marriott Wardman Park Hotel
The NAVAIR E-2 program will conduct a media brief at Sea-Air-Space in conjunction with our industry partner, Northrop Grumman. Capt Bob Labelle, NAVAIR E-2/C-2 Program Manager (PMA231) along with his industry counterpart will brief the E-2 program to reporters. Briefing will concentrate on E-2’s overall performance, emerging threats and introduce the Advance Hawkeye (AHE) program as nears SDD.
