The artisans are on assignment in Italy performing depot level services to the forward deployed warfighters. On the afternoon of Feb. 28, a KC-130 from VMRG-252 experienced damage to its starboard drogue pod during a routine air refueling mission, resulting in a non-mission capable situation. Squadron maintenance personnel contacted NAMRA’s AIR-6.0 Team at Site-41 for assistance, and at 7 a.m. the next morning, McKernan and Brockway were on the job.
