NAVAIR Naval Air Weapons Station -- Lauritsen Road, from Blandy to Nimitz, will be closed Saturday, May 17, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. due to the MAD DASH, an annual event put on by the Marine Aviation Detachment (MAD). At all other intersections and cross roads affected by the event, Marines will be on hand to control traffic and direct runners. Everyone is asked to take special care during this time.
