NAVAIR China Lake--
The Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, Calif. is hosting a series of public hearings to receive comments on its Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Military Operational Increases and Implementation of Associated Management Plans.

The hearings will be at:
Ridgecrest- Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the Kerr McGee Community Center, 100 W. California Ave.

Inyokern- Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Inyokern Elementary School, 6601 Locust Ave.

Barstow- Thursday, Jan. 23, at the City of Barstow Council Chamber, 220 E. Mountain View St., Ste. A

Independence- Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Owens Valley Unified School District, 202 S. Clay St.

Trona- Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the Trona School, 83600 Trona Road

From 6 to 7 p.m. at each location, the public will have the opportunity to view informational displays and to speak to Navy representatives.

This will be followed by a formal presentation by the Navy. The public will then have the opportunity for oral comments.
