NAVAIR Depot Jacksonville military recognized

On December 13, 2002, Commanding Officer (CO) Capt. Karl E. Yeakel, Naval Air (NAVAIR) Depot Jacksonville, presented the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal to Lt. Richard Paquette for his unsurpassed dedication and steadfast commitment to excellence, which was instrumental in expediting production of J52 jet engines for the EA-6B aircraft in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Volunteering on short notice to assist the Depot contracting office, Paquette demonstrated exceptional knowledge of contracting regulations and policies, quickly gathered all pending actions, troubleshot any problems, and resolved disagreements between various offices. Paquette’s managerial ability, personal initiative, and unswerving devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
