NAVAIR members who want to learn about the Navy and Marine Corps heritage they support may visit the “Did You Know” database, featuring graphics and facts of naval feats, on WingSpan at https://wingspan.navair.navy.mil.

Located in the first column of the WingSpan layout, the database is intended to “train our non-military workforce about the history, traditions and culture of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, giving them a greater appreciation for the fleet and to help them ‘see the world through the fleet's eyes,’” said PRC (AW) Jeffrey W. Dronenburg, database project co-lead.

The Warfighter Focus Group Education Task Team, the database creator, will populate the Did You Know catalog with about 30 additional facts and photos a month until it reach its goal of 360. (Submitted by the Focus Group Executive Secretariat)
