ICAP III Electronic Attack System, NAVAIR ACETEF
As part of an Association of Old Crows Joint Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses symposium, members of the media are invited to a ceremony officially introducing the first ICAP III equipped EA-6B aircraft, now undergoing NAVAIR testing at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md. Media are invited to attend a buffet lunch and will be joined after lunch and the introduction ceremony by Capt John W. Scheffler, NAVAIR PMA-234 and Mr. John Young, Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems Vice President. The two will provide a short brief and will take questions at the press table over coffee after the luncheon. At the luncheon ceremony NAVAIR will unveil the first ICAP III EA-6B test aircraft, which is now in ground test.
Immediately following the brief, members of the press will be given a tour of the Air Combat Environment Test & Evaluation Facility (ACETEF), including the anechoic chamber, and will be informally briefed on NAVAIR testing activities.
Free transportation from and to the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Pentagon City will be provided.
