JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. – The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, NAWCAD, Lakehurst recently recognized several members of its workforce for exemplary service in support of the fleet.

Rear Adm. Shane G. Gahagan, NAWCAD Commander, who was joined by Kathleen P. Donnelly, SES, director, Naval Air Systems Command, Support Equipment and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Department, or SE/ALRE, awarded recipients of the Navy’s Superior Civilian Service Award and Meritorious Civilian Service Award May 17.

Both awards recognize exemplary performance, outstanding achievements and contributions of value to the U.S. Navy, and are the second and third highest (respectively) honorary awards under the Department of the Navy Civilian Awards program.

Sean Brennan, formerly with the NAVAIR SE/ALRE department, was recognized with the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award.

NAWCAD Lakehurst recipients of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award included David Carlson, Richard Celin, Albert Cesaretti, Donald Fonner and Robert Wigginton.
