New leader for E-2/C-2 Airborne Tactical Data System Program Office
Incoming PM looks forward to working with leaders across Hawkeye, Greyhound community to shape future of aircraft that provide airborne command and control, and logistics
NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, PATUXENT RIVER, Md. – A new program manager took the helm of the E-2/C-2 Airborne Tactical Data System Program Office (PMA-231) during a change of command ceremony May 26.
Capt. Keith Hash assumed command from Capt. John Lemmon in the afternoon event held in the Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 20 hangar here.
According to Lemmon, PMA-231 will continue to succeed under Hash’s leadership.
“You are the right person, at the right time, to continue to lead this incredible program office and our thriving Hawkeye/Greyhound community onward to continued great accomplishments!”
Hash, who was the PMA-231 Development and Production lead before assuming command, has served the E-2/C-2 community for more than two decades.
“I am truly humbled to be given the opportunity to continue to participate in the community that I love,” Hash said. “I look forward to working with the leaders across this community, the Department of Defense and Congress to shape the future of the E-2 Hawkeye and the C-2 Greyhound.”
Paired with his experience in the E-2/C-2 community, Hash is backed by a team that is focused on meeting the needs of the warfighter, said Lemmon, who will assume command of Air Warfare/From The Air Program Office (PMA-298).
“ … there aren’t enough good things that I could possibly say about the incredible people who make up our fantastic Hawkeye/Greyhound team!” Lemmon said. “It’s been said that the secret of success is constancy of purpose. Their constancy of purpose shows in every facet of their daily activities and is in line with my belief that the acquisition of capability is a weapon of war.”
