Holmdel, N.J. – On June 4th, the Logistics team at the Naval Air Warfare Division Aircraft Division at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) received an honors and recognition award as the 2015 nominee for the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award for exemplary support of the National Guard and Reserve member employees in New Jersey. The award was presented to Mr. Robert Knudsen and Mr. Eric Higgs of the Logistics department by Mr. Donald Tretola, the State Chairman, Employee Support Guard and Reserve – New Jersey at a ceremony held at the New Jersey Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum and Education Center in Holmdel, N.J. Also present at the ceremony were, Colonel Andrew Cole, Commander, 87th Medical Group, JB MDL; Colonel Jeffrey Doll, Commander, US Army Support Activity, JB MDL; and Colonel Michael Underkofler, Commander, 514th Air Mobility Wing, JB MDL.
