PMA-231 engineer receives Joey Miller Award
NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, PATUXENT RIVER, Md. -- Capt. John Lemmon, E-2/C-2 Airborne Tactical Data System Program Office (PMA-231) program manager, presented Mackenzie Karn, PMA-231 flight vehicle performance lead, with the Joey Miller Engineering Excellence Award during a ceremony May 13 at Patuxent River.
Karn received the award for her work with fleet operators and for leading a NAVAIR team in the revision of E-2C and E-2D NATOPS Performance Charts. Karn was also an integral part of the Tow Link Working Group, leading a review to substantiate catapult minimum end airspeeds parameters for E-2C and E-2D aircraft.
The Joey Miller Engineering Excellence Award recognizes those who best embody the technical excellence, superior leadership and dedication to warfighters that Lieutenant Commander Joey Miller demonstrated as part of the NAVAIR team.
