Archived Body

CHINA LAKE, Calif. –Sandee Roberts, Operational Requirements Analysis supervisor was recently awarded the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service award for her outstanding contributions made throughout a ten-year period as a member of E-2/C-2 program supporting Tactical Aircraft Programs (PMA-231). During this time Roberts served in a variety of capacities that included Operational Requirements lead, member of the senior executive group and Hawkeye Tactical Analysis team.

From December 2000 through December 2010, Roberts facilitated the E-2/C-2 Mission and Vision statement and creation of an operational roadmap brief that became the model for all other aviation programs. In addition, she produced a visionary E-2D Concept of Operations document that formed the basis for the E-2D tactical manual. As part of the senior executive group, Roberts coordinated a robust modeling and simulation effort that incorporated Operator-In-The-Loop (OITL)/non-OITL endeavors across multiple security environments and venues that supported Joint Capability Area (JCA) gap analysis and acquisition goals. This effort resulted in procurement of $4 billion for major defense acquisition programs and a $13 billion acquisition effort for 75 aircraft.
