The Procurement Management System was designed by a team of PEO, PMA, Competency and Blackbelt experts charged with analyzing variation in the procurement initiation document (PID) process across naval aviation programs. The team applied CPI methods in creating the system, which will enable NAVAIR Competencies and programs to baseline procurement process data, identify and resolve contributors to cost and schedule growth, standardize the acquisition process, and ensure continuous improvement across all our programs.
