CHINA LAKE, Calif. — In conjunction with the joint exercise “Crown Pinnacle” that was held at China Lake, Calif., Air Vice Marshal Osborn, Air Officer Commanding 2 Group of the British Royal Air Force (far right) and his aides toured the NAWCWD Range Control Center.

Osborn stated, "Exercise “Crown Pinnacle” provides essential training for the Royal Air Force’s ongoing efforts in support of global operations. The location here at China Lake enables our C130 Hercules Fleet to conduct essential training in an area which almost identically replicates the conditions experienced on current operations in Afghanistan.”

Reflecting on the joint exercise, Osborn continued, “The reception from our American partners is always extremely welcoming and the facilities offer us a world class training environment. May I take this opportunity to thank those involved with this exercise at China Lake, who are a credit to the professionalism of the United States military.”
