Camp Invention ran July 20 through July 23 at Silver Bay Elementary School and immersed elementary students in hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities, referred to as modules, where they worked together to create and prototype solutions to real-world challenges. This summer was Silver Bay Elementary School’s first time hosting Camp Invention. 106 students from 36 different elementary schools attended, 13 of which attended on full scholarships; 10 of those scholarships were funded by NAVAIR Lakehurst.
