NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, PATUXENT RIVER, Md. -- Rear Adm. Paul Sohl, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), and Assistant Commander for Logistics and Industrial Operations (AIR 6.0), at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) speaks to NAVAIR'S corporate leadership about 6.0's implementation of a knowledge management system. The system is a digital collaborative tool designed to capture experience and expertise in an always evolving system. "This transfer of knowledge is essential as NAVAIR strives to have a more agile workforce and as an aging workforce gives way to younger employees," Sohl said. Sohl also outlined the F/A-18A-D out of reporting status and expressed COMFRC’s need for talented artisans and engineers to meet fleet readiness.
