Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. – Gary Kurtz, NAVAIR assistant commander for acquisition, recognized the winners of the AIR-1.0 Spotlight Awards during an annual all-hands meeting Feb. 3 at the Center Stage Theater. The Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System, Night Vision Cueing and Display, Integrated Product Team from PMA-202 was the winner of the December Spotlight. According to the award citation, the team's negotiations "led to a 40 percent unit cost reduction equating to $39 million in cost savings over the life of the program."
