Congressman Runyan Visits NAVAIR Lakehurst

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. – Congressman Jon Runyan, from New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District visited the NAVAIR facilities located on the Lakehurst portion of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on Wednesday, Aug 14, 2013.

Runyan, serving in Congress since 2010, serves on three key committees: the House Armed Services Committee, the Veterans Affairs Committee and the Natural Resources Committee.  He is also chairman of the Veterans Affairs subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs.  

During the visit, Runyan met with NAVAIR leadership and employees, received a status briefing on missions and programs and toured NAVAIR manufacturing and engineering lab facilities. He was hosted by Ms. Kathleen Donnelly, Director of Support Equipment and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Department and Mr. Mauricio Borrero, Program Management Director and site integrator for NAVAIR at Lakehurst.
