Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division employee Robert “Al” Boyack received the prestigious Captain Kenneth A. Walden Memorial Award in June for his much needed and highly valued technical and operational support to the mission without the benefit of a four-year college technical education. The award is named for the late Captain Kenneth A. Walden, who provided motivation and leadership to others to achieve the technical and operational objectives of Range Operations. Boyack, with 61 years of service at the Weapons Division, embodies the principles for which the award was made. The award was presented to Boyack by Rear Admiral Mark Skinner, Commander, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
