Weapons Division Presents Michelson Laboratory Awards

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division presented the Michelson Laboratory Award to 14 Point Mugu and China Lake employees in June at the Division’s annual honorary awards luncheons. The award was established in 1966 to recognize individuals for technical excellence based on outstanding performance of individual duties. This year the award was granted to individuals whose work represents major achievement in the areas of management and leadership as well as to individuals whose excellence in the technical aspects enabled the Weapons Division to arrive at significant levels in ordnance development, test, and evaluation. Scott O’Neil, Executive Director, and Rear Admiral Mark Skinner, Commander, presented certificates and a “key” desk plaque to each award recipient. Pictured (left to right) are O’Neil, Michael A.
