Earth Day Observance to involve NAVAIR Depot personnel, Annunciation Catholic School students

In observance of Earth Day 2006, Naval Air Depot Cherry Point volunteers and Havelock Annunciation Catholic Parish School eighth graders will participate in a tree-planting ceremony at 2 p.m. April 21 on the school campus located in Havelock, N.C.School and depot officials attending the event include: Col. D.A. Smith, NAVAIR Depot executive officer, and June Pietras, Annunciation Catholic Parish School principal. Media interested in covering the event should park adjacent the church and proceed to the school office located in the office building behind the church to check in and obtain directions to the ceremony site.
