WASHINGTON – The Navy's Chief of Information will host a media round-table with the Heavy Lift Helicopter Replacement Program manager, Marine Col. Paul Croisetiere, and the Sikorsky Aircraft Company HLR program manager, Mr. David Haines Thursday, January 5 at 2 p.m.

The roundtable will take place in the DNS conference room, 4E415 in the Pentagon.

Following a short briefing on the new acquisition program and strategy for the new helicopter, the two program managers will be available for questions.

Approved Dec. 22 to enter the acquisition System Development and Demonstration Phase at Milestone B, the estimated $4.2 billion development program will provide the Marine Corps with a fully shipboard-compatible, near-term replacement of the CH-53E that will enable USMC requirements for Ship-To-Objective Maneuver of 13.5 tons (two up-armored HMMWVs) at to a range of 110 nautical miles (As defined in the MEB 2015 Study).
