Colonel Eric Garvin, USAF, CV-22 Acquisition Squadron Commander, accepts the command colors from Colonel Chris Bogdan, Special Operations Systems Group Commander as Senior Master Sergeant Gene Trosterud looks on. This event was the culmination of efforts to align Air Force System Program offices more closely to operational squadrons in terms of reporting, authority, and accountability. Acquisitions squadrons fall under the manpower and resources authority of the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
