The Fleet Environmental Information Exchange (EIE) is scheduled for April 26 through 28, 2005 at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Officer’s Club for Department of Defense military and civilian personnel.

This yearly event brings together Sailors, Marines, and Fleet representatives to address environmental maintenance-related needs of aviation maintenance and to introduce innovative maintenance practices and technologies.

A series of technical sessions for this year’s EIE include: Adhesives, Bonding and Sealants; Aviation Hydraulic/fluid contamination; composite repair; corrosion control; fuel cells and tanks; liquid oxygen and more.

For the past seven years, Naval Air Systems Command’s (NAVAIR) Environmental Support Office and the Lead Maintenance Technology Center for the Environment have hosted an EIE to address outstanding environmental management needs, maintenance practices and technologies of aviation maintenance.
