TOY DRIVE – Capt. Tim Trainer, NAVAIR Depot North Island commanding officer (right), hands Salvation Army Lt. Col. Doug O’Brien one of $20,000 worth of toys that depot employees donated to the Salvation Army’s holiday toy drive for distribution to 2,500 needy families in San Diego County. This was the 45th year that depot employees have donated toys. The National Association of Superintendents (Naval Shore Establishments) organized the toy drive.
