KEN MORTON SELECTED AS HEAD OF WARFARE ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT
Released by Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division China Lake, Calif.--Dr. Don McErlean, NAVAIR deputy assistant commander for research and engineering at Patuxent River, MD., has announced the selection of Ken Morton as Head of the Warfare Analysis Department (AIR-4.10) for the entire organization.
AIR 4.10 consists of approximately 200 engineers, scientists, and mathematicians, who are responsible for warfare and systems analysis and source selection.
For over 20 years, Morton has been employed at China Lake focusing on systems engineering and analysis positions. His experience spans work at the Center for Naval Analyses, test planning and execution at AIRTEVRON Five, systems engineering for the Harpoon and SLAM programs, and numerous studies for local, Navy, Department of Defense and international customers.
He holds a master’s degree in operations research from George Washington University. Morton and his wife, Stephanie, have one son, Scott.
