Media Opportunity--F-14 D TAKES LAST FLIGHT

The movie Top Gun featured it, the character, Harm, on JAG, flies one, but on Friday, July 23, the last F-14D “Tomcat” aircraft based on the West Coast will depart Naval Air Test & Evaluation Squadron Three Zero (VX-30)for its final flight.

A photo opportunity with the last F-14D, "Bloodhound 200, will be held from noon to 1:20 p.m., followed by a Final Flight Ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at Hanger 372. A social at 3 p.m. at the Ozone Restaurant on Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu will complete the festivities.
